I can see that was done with a wide-angle lens. Big Ben is leaning. Not a problem. Just a quirk of those sorts of lenses. Let me guess. 50mm or shorter?
Great photos! I've been to the UK many times now but have yet to visit Stonehenge (or the north -- we usually just hang around my husband's hometown of Cardiff). You're making me hanker to start planning another trip...
Thanks, I'm glad you like them! I've given myself a hankering to do some more sightseeing! LOL Being an American, I have a bit more enthusiasm for things like that. My husband has lived here his entire life, and he has only started interesting himself in things like castles, manor houses, monuments, etc. since we met. We're planning a trip down to Blenheim in April (I haven't been since 1994 and he's never been), so hopefully I'll have some good pics to post! Between now and then, we're going to explore some of the closer places like Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, and Hardwick Hall.
Location: Chesterfield, Derbyshire, United Kingdom
I just finished my third year and final year as a Law and Criminology student, and spend my spare time (what there is of it) following Formula One fanatically, reading books on Wicca and witchcraft, walking up and down hills for no other purpose than to say I did, and re-living my teen-age years by listening to very loud 80s rock music. I'm originally from Garland, Texas, USA and moved to England in 1997 with my four children who all seem to be as puddled as I am!

Yeah just a standard 50 mm. I didn't have any other lenses with me because I was only wandering around as a tourist (this one was in 1994).

I have lots and lots of pics of armour and fortifications. Hope you like them as much as I have enjoyed YOUR photography site.
